I found this to be a very informative book. It was well written so that it really delved into quite a bit of information and yet was easy enough for a lay person to understand. It presented some of the same information as books such as Children With Starving Brains and What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Childhood Vaccinations, and yet in a much easier to read format and with a lot more information as well. I especially found all the information about the different parts of the brain and what they do and how they interact very fascinating and helpful. It really helps to understand why certain symptoms manifest in the different disorders.
I also really appreciated the detailed information on the various aspects of the healing program. This is the kind of information I needed to really understand what the various supplements do. I know it was covered in Starving Brains, but it was presented differently here. This is an invaluable resource for anyone using DAN! protocol.
I was surprised to see the section on medications but appreciated his point of view on why they are sometimes useful and necessary, even in conjunction with biomed treatment.
I highly recommend this book to anyone dealing with any of the 4-A disorders (autism, ADHD, Asthma, and allergies) and those who would like to understand biomedical treatment better.
Helping our children become all that God wants them to be.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thess 5:11
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Eph 4:29
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11
